Signing Three Strategic Agreements between SDAIA and Leading International Companies in the Forefront of the Global AI Summit’s 2nd Day Agenda

Riyadh, October 22, 2020: Organized by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) and held under the royal patronage of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the second day of the landmark Global AI Summit opened with signing three strategic agreements with IBM, Alibaba and Huawei. The day’s agenda also features an official announcement of the cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the highly-anticipated reveal of the AI Artathon and NEOM AI Challenge winners.

The Global AI Summit, held under the theme: ‘AI for the Good of Humanity’, will include more than five discussion sessions today, concluding with a final closing conversation that summarizes the important highlights of the summit’s meetings.

The Global AI Summit aligns with the Kingdom’s aspirations to be a world leader in data-driven economies and artificial intelligence. The summit also sheds light on the role Saudi Data & AI Authority plays in spearheading alternative economies, in cooperation with its partners and other entities, to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
